It's Official!!!

We received our DHR approval in the mail on Friday! I am so freakin' excited! Now I know that we could possibly receive a call at any time! God has been so good to us and this is just a single part of His goodness to our family! We will continue to pray for the child that God will bring into our family! Also...there are many changes in store for our family in more way! I will share these at a later date!

A new start

So...we are still waiting to receive our final approval in the mail from DHR. What's the saying "the check's in the mail!" Yeah..that's definitely what this feels like. Anyways...a woman in my office happens to the know the president of the board of directors of a women's clinic here in town and she put me in touch with him. After a couple of days playing phone tag with him I finally spoke with him today. He told me that it had been about five years since he has actively helped place a baby and wanted to be sure he gave the me the correct information. So we are waiting on him to call back with some more contact numbers and the correct process that we should be going through.

So as we wait to hear back from him we continue to pray for our child, the birth family and our family. We are fervently praying for this to happen and know that in God's time the right child will come along for us!

P.S. - David's job at the university is going great! Just miss us being able to spend time together at night!
